HISTON drew a blank at Harrogate but picked up a point thanks to some excellent goalkeeping from Jorg Stadelmann.
Stadelmann repelled efforts from Paul Brayson and debutant Paul Bolland to ensure his side kept a clean sheet.
At the other end the Stutes struggled to create chances, though Omer Riza did have the ball in the net in the first half but saw his effort ruled out for offside.
The Stutes next match is a home clash with Gloucester City on Saturday.
