The cold weather has caused matches at Cambridge City and Histon to be postponed

Freezing conditions hit weekend football

THE matches at Híston and Cambridge City’s today have been postponed due to the freezing conditions.

The Stutes held a pitch inspection yesterday ahead of their scheduled fixture against Droylsden, while an inspection this morning at Milton Road by the match officials declared the pitch unsuitable for their local derby against Hitchin Town.

Both games have yet to be rescheduled. Histon are reminding fans that those with “2 for 1” promotional flyers will be able to use them on the re-arranged date for this game.
