DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a man whose body was discovered in a Cambridge river have made a fresh appeal for witnesses.

The body of Raymond Boyle, 53, was discovered in the River Cam, at Jesus Green, shortly after 2am on Wednesday, June 22.

Detective Chief Inspector George Barr said: “We believe there was a group of students in the area, we are keen to speak to them as they may have vital information which could assist our investigation.”
