Fire engine

A FIRE investigation will take place today following a blaze at a bungalow in Sawston overnight which completely destroyed its roof.

Firefighters from Cambridge and Sawston were called to the fire in Whitefield Way at around 1.45am.

The occupants of the house were outside when the crews arrived and further back-up was required from Cottenham and Linton.

The turntable ladder from Cambridge was also deployed to the scene.
