Cambridge-based property consultancy Carter Jonas has opened a flagship commercial office in Mayfair in London.

The aim is to support the growth of its regional commercial operations – like those in Hills Road, Cambridge – as well as to strengthen the presence it has in central London through its five residential offices.

And next month the company is to launch a new planning and development division in a bid to offer a more comprehensive commercial property service.

Partner Ben Oughton, who is based at the Cambridge office, said: “The remit of the new London office and the new division will prove a focus for our strong regional commercial, planning and development teams and will allow us to offer a genuinely seamless, national service to add value for our clients.”
