Confidence building, communication skills and effective networking were the order of the day at the first Business Skills Day hosted by JCI Cambridge.
The business networking group for young professionals aims to make the day an annual event – and it got off to a flying start, with 60 attendees for the first event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
“The day was a huge success,” said JCI Cambridge spokesman Jo Evans, from Emerald Frog Marketing.
“JCI Cambridge works with high-calibre speakers who deliver excellent training for young professionals from Cambridge and further afield.
“It’s also a great opportunity for networking and expanding business connections, and the feedback we received was extremely positive”.
Speakers – drawn from the Cambridge business community – included business mentor Ann Hawkins from The Inspired Group, trainer Kate Atkin from Inspire2 and communication specialist Aaron Garner from Semita Veritas.
