Intelligence and investigation software firm i2 has been presented with its Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the innovation category – for the second year running.
Lord Lieutenant of Cambridge Hugh Duberly visited the company’s premises at Capital Park, Fulbourn, to make the presentation to chief executive Robert Griffin.
“Winning this award for the second year running is a fitting tribute to the continuing achievements of the company and our employees,” said Mr Griffin.
“The success of our products in helping our customers collaborate and share information, investigate, predict, prevent and defeat the world’s most sophisticated criminal and terrorist threats has been an instrumental factor in this achievement.”
All UK police forces and national security agencies use i2 technology to help fulfil their missions on a daily basis.
